With almost 40 years of experience, Huskyfarm Innset is a pioneer in multi-day dog-sledding expeditions. Our tours are led by the owners, Anne or Morten, both from Norway, with many years of experience and extensive local knowledge.
Our dog-sledding tours start and end directly at our Huskyfarm. Huskyfarm Innset is ideally located in the Norwegian-Swedish border mountains—directly adjacent to one of the largest untouched Arctic wilderness areas on the European mainland. Reliable snow conditions and the Arctic winter climate provide the best conditions for an extraordinary winter adventure.
We run our husky tours from mid-December to early May. Our shortest tour includes five days travelling through the mountains. In addition, there are three more days: one day each for arrival and departure, as well as a preparation day on which you learn how to drive a dog sled and get to know your own husky team. Everything from the official arrival day to the official departure day is included in the price: meals, accommodation, dogs, sleds, and shared equipment. So you are booking an all-inclusive experience—you only arrange your journey to and from the Setermoen separately.
On all our husky tours, we travel self-sufficiently in the mountains and are often without any connection to the outside world.
We run our tours in an expedition style. This means that we do not use snowmobiles, either for breaking trails or for transporting equipment.
*Safety comes always first*—our guides have extensive experience, well-established routines, and detailed local knowledge. Since we offer multi-day sled tours throughout the winter, our operations are well coordinated.
For us, food is not just a necessity but an important part of the experience: high-quality meals, prepared with as few convenience products as possible and without classic outdoor food.
We travel in small groups and take a maximum of 6 participants on each tour. This allows us to ensure safety, maintain an overview, and provide personal support even in bad weather.
An authentic experience of nature—each participant gets their own dog-sled team and is responsible for it throughout the entire expedition.

Activities in nature and day trips by husky sledge in our valley and the surrounding mountains are the main focus.
