Working in the mountains of the Norwegian Arctic for a winter – are you up for it?
Innset Huskyfarm is located at the end of the beautiful Østerdalen Valley right by Lake Veslevatn in the middle of the border mountains between Norway and Sweden. The Huskyfarm used to be a small mountain farm. Over the last 30 years, we have built and completely renovated six buildings. Today the Huskyfarm is a small family business with about 80 Huskies whose main business is the winter season. From mid-December, we organize expeditions lasting several days and day tours. In addition to the tours, we also organize Huskyfarm holidays with families and groups. From the beginning of December 2024 until the end of April 2025, we seek reinforcement for our team.

What we are looking for

You will take on the main responsibility in the kitchen of our new restaurant: Here we serve breakfast and dinner for our guests during the holiday periods. You do not need to be a qualified chef, but you must enjoy cooking and have a certain amount of experience. Good local food must also be cooked independently for larger groups (10-20 guests).

In addition to the work in the kitchen, we always work as a team on the farm, everyone helps out everywhere (transferring guests, cleaning the guest houses, looking after the dogs).
Temperatures often drop below -20 degrees in winter, so you should be prepared for this. Experience with dogs is not necessary.
