General Terms and Conditions

Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions by the customer.

1 Conclusion of contract and payment

Booking inquiries can be made via the online form or by e-mail. The traveler will then receive the bank details of Huskyfarm Innset AS with a request to transfer a deposit of 250 euros per person (100 euros per person for Huskyfarm holidays). The requested place will be reserved for one week without obligation. As soon as the deposit has been credited to the Huskyfarm account, the booking becomes valid. The traveler will also receive a booking confirmation.

The remaining amount is due 28 days before the start of the tour. An exception is made for last-minute bookings made less than 32 days before the start of the tour. In this case, the total amount must be transferred immediately.

2. programme

The respective program of the booked tour can be found in the program description in connection with the booking confirmation.

3. Requirements for participation

In order to ensure the safety of the guests, the participants of a dog sled tour must fulfill minimum requirements with regard to age and physical fitness. Participants on multi-day dog sledding tours should be between 16 and 65 years old. The level of fitness required for such a tour is similar to that required for a bike tour with luggage in low mountain ranges.
If it becomes apparent during the tour that a guest is not up to the demands, the tour can be changed in its course for safety reasons – as far as possible – or canceled if necessary. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the (proportionate) tour price or the implementation of alternative programs.
All activities are undertaken at your own risk.

4. Cancellations, changes, rebookings

Cancellations, changes, and rebookings must be notified to Huskyfarm Innset AS in writing or in text form.

The following flat-rate cancellation fees will be charged for cancellations or non-payment of the balance:
- from booking 250.- Euro
- from 120 days before the start of the tour 30% of the tour price
- from 89 days before the start of the tour 60% of the tour price
- from 45 days before the start of the tour 100% of the tour price

We strongly recommend that all customers take out travel/accident insurance and travel cancellation insurance with a reputable provider in their home country before traveling to Norway. It is important that all travelers protect themselves against unforeseen problems or additional costs.

To the extent permitted by law, Huskyfarm Innset AS accepts no liability for foreseeable or other direct or indirect loss or damage, including indirect, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from the use of the website or other information contained therein. Users should be aware that they use the website and the content at their own risk.

Huskyfarm Innset AS accepts no liability for accidents or deaths due to the negligence of the participant, acts of third parties, or external circumstances beyond the control of Huskyfarm Innset (force major), such as weather, natural phenomena, or similar causes. No liability is accepted for losses, or expenses due to delays, changes to flights or other services, or due to strikes, accidents, illness, injury, negligence, weather, changes to flight schedules, or similar causes beyond our control. All such losses and costs shall be borne by the traveler.

The estimated duration of trips listed on our website are standard times and may vary.

All customers must be contactable either by e-mail or by the telephone number provided when placing the order. We are not responsible if the customer cannot be contacted prior to travel due to incorrect, erroneous information provided to Huskyfarm Innset. We recommend that you keep an eye on your e-mails for further communication.

Huskyfarm Innset AS reserves the right to postpone, change, or cancel trips for safety reasons due to weather or unsafe conditions. Or to remove people where the participant does not follow the assistant’s instructions, driving rules, time restrictions, or instructions before or during the tour.

By purchasing a tour through our website, you agree to these terms, confirm that you understand them, and accept responsibility for your participation in the tour.

Huskyfarm Innset AS is not liable if the non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of the contract is due to the following:

  1. To failures on the part of the traveler before or during the trip
  2. Force majeure or an event which Huskyfarm Innset AS could not foresee or avert despite all due care
  3. Bad weather conditions
  4. Bad snow and ice conditions
  5. Closures or restrictions affecting traveling to Huskyfarm or the operation of tours by the Norwegian government or the government of other countries.
  6. Entry restrictions
  7. Restriction of the tour due to external requirements that are not under the control of Huskyfarm Innset AS

6 Intellectual Property

All content included on the Website, unless uploaded by users, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data collection, page layouts, underlying code, and software, is the property of Huskyfarm Innset AS, our affiliates or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the Site, you agree that this material is protected by applicable Norwegian and international intellectual property and other relevant laws.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store, or otherwise re-use material from the website unless otherwise indicated on the website or without the express written permission of Huskyfarm Innset AS.

Material from the website may be re-used without written permission where some of the exceptions described in Chapter III of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 apply.

7. law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions between you and Huskyfarm Innset AS shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway and Huskyfarm Innset AS. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.

By purchasing a tour through our website, you accept these terms and confirm that you understand them, and take responsibility for your participation in the tour.
