Welcome to our small restaurant “Speisestua”
Every evening, we serve a freshly prepared dinner for our guests, with as many local and self-made ingredients as possible. For us, the quality of the ingredients we use is of the highest importance and is the foundation of every great meal.

The familiar atmosphere is important on our farm, and eating together is an essential part of this. Therefore, we offer a common dinner for all guests every evening.

Breakfast is also served in our restaurant between 08:00 and 10:00 every morning. Here we serve a variety of spreads and self-made products. The bread is made in our own wooden-fired stone oven with ecological ingredients.

In summer, the terrace also invites you to enjoy a glass of wine in the midnight sun. In winter, a glass of wine can be enjoyed while the snow drifts past the large windows, and a stove creates a cozy atmosphere. You’re welcome!

Fresh ingredients from our own garden

When Anne makes the first preparations in the greenhouse at the end of March, there is still a lot of snow outside. Growing vegetables here in the mountains above the Arctic Circle is an art that not everyone can master. We are proud that we can plant many different types of vegetables during the summer and harvest them just before winter sets in: Potatoes, cabbage, carrots, lettuce, the list is long. We get additional berries and mushrooms from the surrounding countryside. A lot is pickled and preserved for the winter.

Local meat and fish products

Most of the meat and fish products come either from our production or the immediate neighborhood. Be it from the pigs on the farm, lamb, and beef from the valley, elk meat from a hunter friend, or reindeer meat from the Sami. We also get our fish from local suppliers along the coast.
